Emergency maintenance has been scheduled in order to replace some failing components of the electrical systems within the Library Datacenter. Work will begin around 6am on Thursday, September 18, and will continue until all services have been fully restored. While we have allotted 6 hours for this maintenance, we will make every effort to restrict service disruptions to the first 2 hours of the maintenance window.
During the maintenance, IT services in the following locations will be affected: * Campus-wide network, telephone, and server systems will be at higher risk of outage due to loss of power redundancy.
During the maintenance, critical EOU systems should remain usable. However, we will be at a higher risk of outage due to the loss of power redundancy. Some minor systems will need to be powered down as they can not utilize redundant power - affected users will be notified of the outages directly.
